When Jada became a mother at just 15 years old, many told her to set aside her education to focus solely on raising her daughter. But Jada had a different vision—one rooted in resilience, love, and the belief that she could provide a better future for both herself and her daughter, Alexandria.

She graduated from an early college high school, earning both her high school diploma and associate degree in the same week. Determined to keep going, she earned a full-ride scholarship to the University of North Texas, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in accounting, followed by a master’s degree.

During her academic journey, Jada joined Helping Hands for Single Moms Dallas, where she found not just financial assistance but a supportive community that believed in her. The program helped fill the gap with auto repairs, technology support, and holiday assistance, but more than that—it offered connection and encouragement.

Jada shared how impactful it was to find a circle of moms who understood her journey:

“I found women who got it. Who were also staying up late to write papers after bedtime stories and packing lunches. It helped me not feel so alone.”

In 2022, Jada was offered a position as a Tax Consultant at Ryan LLC after an impressive internship. Now, in 2025, Jada continues to thrive in that role. Her success is a testament to what’s possible when hard work meets community support.

She often says:

“You can do it if you will it. I always say I am the pen and the world is my paper. No one can put a period on my life but me. Don’t only do it for your babies—do it for you, too. You matter.”

We are so proud of the woman, mother, and professional Jada is today. Her story is not just inspiring—it’s a powerful reminder that every mom’s dream is worth fighting for.
